What can I do about painful hands & wrists?

Do you have arthritis in your hands & wrists? Is it tough to bear weight or hold something heavy?

This can be common for many folks getting into exercise and there's A LOT of things we can do about this. The way we think about helping people with hand & wrist issues at StrongerLife is by focusing on two things in this video - Optimizing & Compensating.

Optimizing

  • Improve Wrist Mobility

    • Weight Bearing Stretches

    • Banded Wrist Extension

  • Working on Grip Strength (Clips)

  • Warm-Up before you exercise

Compensating

  • Use of Wrist Wraps

  • Change how we’re Weight Bearing

    • Elevated Surface

    • Hands Turned Out

    • Use of Fists

    • Neutral Grip on Dumbbell
