Physical Confidence

Physical confidence is gained through experience. The more we practice skills like balancing, getting up & down from the ground, or lifting heavy things, the more confidence we gain in what our body is actually capable of! Be consistent coming to class the whole month & watch your physical confidence grow!

People who practice the skills they need to live the life they want! Confident people have less stress & more energy!

Mental Confidence

Say something positive about yourself each day, visualize a positive future & positive aging experience
Do it with us! Say one positive thing to say to yourself 10x out loud, 2 times per day! It can be the same thing or you can mix it up! Don’t want to come up with one on your own? We’ll be saying “ I AM STRONG!”

Social Confidence

Demonstrate Confidence by introducing yourself to someone you don’t know, this could be in class or at the grocery store. Let’s practice being confident in social situations & make the world a more friendly place at the same time!

Our monthly activity will be a walk at UK Arboretum, short and long walking options will be followed by a trip to Kentucky Native on April 9th.
