StrongerLife Meets You Where You Are in Your Health Journey

Meet StrongerLife Member: Natalie

I would like to introduce you to Natalie, one of our StrongerLife members since March 2024. When Natalie joined StrongerLife, she was concerned about her health. Twenty-five years ago, she received a kidney transplant and more recently she was diagnosed with osteoporosis.

At StrongerLife, our coaches understand that everyone has unique needs and limitations, and they work with each individual to address specific diagnoses and concerns. At StrongerLife, we believe that a diagnosis does not define you. We have a podcast we just did on the subject. It is listed at the bottom.

Because the workouts include modifications for differing abilities and energy levels, I’ve been able to build strength slowly.

Why is it so hard to stick to an exercise routine?

Have you ever struggled to stick to an exercise routine? Hands down, one of the most consistent surprises for our new members at StrongerLife is the Community. People come for the classes but they stay for the friends and family they’ve made. You won’t just join a gym, you’ll join a family of like-minded people over 55 who are here to support you.

“I love my classmates,” says Natalie, highlighting the warmth, support, and humor of her workout group! Natalie looks forward to every class and spending time with her new community.

After exercising, we head out, endorphins flowing, and by all signs, just plain happier!

Do the things you need and want to do!

Natalie says that thanks to StrongerLife, she is now able to do the things she needs and wants to do. She has regained muscle tone, feels strong enough to enjoy hiking again, and is confident about climbing ladders and lifting laundry.

“My nephrologist says to keep at it—between osteoporosis treatment and strength training, I am actually gaining bone density, not just slowing loss. Plus, better health supports my kidney function. Thank you all!”

Through support, strength, and community, StrongerLife has empowered Natalie to live her life to the fullest. And we’re here to meet you where you are, too. Thanks, Natalie for sharing your StrongerLife story!
